What is Choline?

As a B-vitamin, choline helps prevent neural tube defects. In the growing foetus, choline is involved in the development of the hippocampus, which is known to be the seat of memory in the brain. Choline is found in eggs, beef, chicken, turkey, salmon, baked beans and maternal milk.
