Ingredients

  • Double toned milk – 1 glass​

  • Finely chopped almonds & pistachios – ½ tsp each​

  • Corn flour – ½ tsp​

  • Cardamom powder – 1/4th tsp​

  • Saffron – 2-3 strands​

  • Vanilla Ensure Diabetes Care – 4 Scoops

Method

  • In a small bowl, soak saffron strands in 2 tablespoons warm milk and keep aside.​

  • Pour rest of the milk in a heavy bottomed pan and heat it on a medium flame. When it boils, reduce the flame and stir continuously for 2-3 minutes.​

  • Mix corn flour in little water, add it to the boiling milk and cook stirring continuously.​

  • Add cardamom powder and saffron milk.​

  • Stir well and cook till it thickens a little.​

  • Transfer it to a serving bowl and cool completely, to this add 4 scoops of Ensure Diabetes Care. Mix it well.​

  • Serve the chilled basundi garnished with almonds and pistachios. ​
