Your child may not be getting the right kind and amount of nutrients from a variety of foods to help him grow. Children are advised to eat at least 5 out of the 7 food groups.

These are the "Go, Grow, and Glow" food groups, which include grains, proteins, fruits, vegetables, and dairy. The Pinggang Pinoy is composed of a healthy food plate appropriate for a child's age which emphasizes the importance of proper diet for overall health and development of children. Pinggang Pinoy helps establish right eating habits to support good nutrition and good growth in children.

Make milk a regular part of your child’s diet. A single glass of milk provides calcium,protein, potassium,vitamins, iodine and phosphorus which are all essential components in building mass and growth.
