A new super simple staple for your fridge is our easy peasy classic hummus dip. By adding Glucerna to this recipe, you’ll be adding 28 vitamins and minerals, including calcium, iron and zinc which will help give you a nutritional boost.
We say chickpea – you say Hummus.

Method:

In a food processor add the following ingredients and process until combined. Easy peasy!

  • Drained Chickpeas
  • Salt
  • Cumin
  • Tahini Paste
  • Garlic
  • Lemon Juice
  • Water
  • 80 mL of Glucerna Ready-to-Drink

With the motor running drizzle in the extra virgin olive oil and blend until the mixture is smooth You may need to add more water or a little more oil if it is too thick. Scoop the mixture out into a bowl and serve with cut up vegetables and fresh toasted bread.

Glucerna is a good source of protein and low GI carbohydrates which may help to curb the blood sugar responses in those with diabetes.
