Why is there only DHA and no AA in Grow?

Many nutrients play a role in optimal brain development. DHA and AA are important building blocks for the development of the brain and eyes for children up to 3 years of age. Grow is formulated with key nutrients to give good value for money, while meeting the nutritional needs of your child.

Will there be any new flavor for Grow?

Can my 3 years old child consume Grow 6, the same as my elder child?

The nutritional needs of a child changes as he or she transits from a toddler to pre-school age. This is reflected in the Recommended Dietary Allowances (RDAs), which is a set of daily nutrient intake guide established by health experts.  

Grow is specially designed to meet the different nutritional needs of a growing child, and so it would be best to provide your child with an age-appropriate formula.

Is there any preservatives in Grow RTD?

There is no chemical preservative in Grow RTD.

Does milk cause phlegm?

The belief that milk causes phlegm is not supported by scientific evidence. Some people may experience the sensation of increased mucus thickness (possibly due to reaction between milk and saliva), which may be mistaken for phlegm.

What is the difference between Similac range and Grow range?

Similac is Abbott’s most advanced range of formulas, with clinically supported ingredients such as lutein, natural vitamin E, nucleotides and HMO. 

GROW is Abbott’s basic range of formula that provides high quality all-rounded nutritional benefits important for development at an even more affordable price point. What is sugar content for Grow stage 3- Toddler?

Grow Stage 3 contains 6.7g of added sugar per 200ml serving, which is slightly more than a teaspoon. Based on WHO guideline recommendations to maintain healthy eating habits , the daily intake of added sugar for toddler should not exceed 10% of their total energy intake, which is for toddler around 25 g of sugar per day.

What is sugar content for Grow stage 4 – Preschool and Grow stage 5 - School?

Both Grow Stage 4 & 5 contain only 2.4 g of added sugar per 200 ml serving, which is slightly less than a half of a teaspoon. Grow Stage 4 & 5 carry Healthier Choice Symbol and classified by Health Protection Board being 25% lower in sugar than regular children’s milk powder (3-year-old and above).

We recommend 2 servings of Grow Stage 4 or 5 each day as part of a healthy, well-balanced and, age-appropriate diet.

For Grow stage 3, per scoop is equivalent to how many grams?

Each scoop of Grow Stage 3 in the can, delivers 12 g of milk formula powder.

Is Grow Halal Certified?

Is Grow suitable for vegetarians?

Grow is suitable for individuals who can include dairy products and fish oil in their diet. Please review the ingredients listed on the can to confirm it is suitable for you.

Should my child consume Grow RTD or Grow Milk Powder? What is their difference?

You may decide which format is more suitable in your situation. Grow RTD is convenient to use on the go, sent to school together with snack or lunch. If you child prefers chocolate flavor Grow RTD can offer that as well.

If you are looking for home based consumption (before or after school, over weekends) Grow milk powder will be a great choice. Also, if you are trying to build healthier eating habits of your child, please note that Grow Stages 4 & 5 qualify for the Healthier Choice Symbol as they are higher in calcium and lower in saturated fat than regular growing up milk (3 years and above).
